Aegon has completed the sale of its 35% share in La Mondiale Participations following the granting of approval by the French Competition Authority (Autorité de la Concurrence).

Proceeds from the sale will be added to Aegon's excess capital buffer, and will increase the group's IGD solvency ratio by approximately 5 percentage points.
