Manager, Analytical Reporting & VA Cash Flow Testing
Responsibilities
- Leads the preparation and interpretation of VA cash flow testing information and assists with NAIC regulatory and capital requirements for presentation to management.
- Support quarterly Financial Plan/Capital Reforecast, Principles Based Reserves, and C3P2 models, as well as annual Medium Term Plan, and Cash Flow Testing models.
- Assist customers in explanation of model results attribution and reconciliation.
- Complete required change management documentation each quarter for assumption and/or system updates.
- Resolve potential issues; escalate as appropriate.
- Assist audit partners by providing requested documentation and information as needed.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge; attend educational workshops, review professional publications, establish personal networks, and participate in professional societies.
- Improve processes to increase reliability and accuracy of results.
- Achieve financial objectives by analyzing variances and initiating corrective action.
- Manage and improve the functional processes, policies and techniques in alignment with company objectives.
- Work closely with cross functional partners to ensure collaboration and process efficiencies are maintained.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in math, actuarial science, statistics, related science field, finance, or related business field
- Seven years related experience (or five with Master’s degree)
- Good understanding of investment and finance concepts, and be able to creatively apply them in solving analytical problems in the business setting
- Team and project management leadership experience
- Effectively communicates, both verbally and in writing, advanced mathematical and analytical concepts to various audiences.
- Works well under pressure and within time constraints to effectively accomplish individual and team objectives.

Working Conditions
- Office or remote environment
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $140,000 - $148,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
