Reporting to our Cost Management and Analysis Business Partner, you will play a vital part in taking responsibility and ownership for the oversight of all financial planning, reporting and analysis for certain functions/areas of Aegon UK.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting with month end analytics, budgeting and forecasting and providing financial reporting to key stakeholders across the business.
- Utilising financial reporting, providing recommendations to senior stakeholders across Aegon UK.
- Analysing and identifying gaps in reporting and providing recommendations and opportunities to the business and mitigating impacts.
- Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders and executives on costs within the business areas.
- Working with the business and business partners to monitor and analyse financial performance.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience working within a management accounting background, with a strong knowledge of month end and associated reporting
- Experience with variance analysis, rolling forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities within business areas.
- Strong numerical skills with attention for detail
- The ability to work autonomously but be equally comfortable with collaborating with teams and colleagues at all levels
- Strong communication skills both in writing and verbally and be capable of explaining complex information in an easy-to-understand way
