We are seeking a Facility Lead who will take on the challenge of setting up and shaping a completely new facility organization. Aegon is moving into a beautiful new office that is currently under construction, providing the perfect backdrop for your innovative ideas and leadership.

You serve as the key representative of facility management, familiar with every aspect of our client interactions. You will have control over shaping and implementing a facility organization that perfectly meets Aegon's needs. You will be responsible for the strategic and tactical management of the facility services, which are largely outsourced to external partners within an integrated facilities management (IFM) structure. You are present and visible on-site, with a thorough understanding of daily operations. As Facility Lead, you are the driving force behind the new facility organization and work closely with external partners to ensure a high level of service. You report to the HR Director Holding.

  • Strategic planning and implementation: Developing and implementing a long-term facility strategy aligned with Aegon's business objectives to deliver excellent service.
  • Building the facility organization: From day one, you will be responsible for setting up and shaping a new facility organization, bringing your vision and strategy to life.
  • Budget management: Preparing the annual facility budget and being responsible for achieving objectives within this budget. Focusing on cost optimization.
  • Stakeholder management: Ensuring excellent communication with various stakeholders within the organisation and ensuring that facility services seamlessly meet Aegon's expectations.
  • Partner management: Managing the relationship with facility partners, ensuring service levels, and overseeing the execution of tactical and operational tasks.
  • Hands-on mentality: Actively involved in operational issues when necessary to ensure that all processes run smoothly.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in a facility management position within a corporate environment.
  • Affinity for working in an international and corporate environment with a high level of professionalism.
  • Experience in managing IFM partners and leading contracts with high demands on quality and service.
  • Strong strategic and leadership abilities combined with a hands-on mentality.
  • Experience in budget management and achieving financial goals.
  • Service and quality oriented with strong focus on ensuring the highest quality of service, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Deliverables

  • The facility organization is operational on the date of the move to Schiphol WTC.
  • Annual deliverables must be achieved within the allocated budget
  • Drawing up an yearly roadmap and execute successfully
  • Successful KPI and SLA management

  • Compensation levels depend upon an applicant’s qualifications and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
