Intermediate Sourcing Specialist
What you will do:
Sourcing Activities: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers for new IT commodities, conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends and supplier capabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs; translating business requirements into detailed specifications for external suppliers
Vendor Management: Help support relationships with third-party vendors from initial contact through to contract completion; Support negotiation of terms and conditions to secure the best possible deals.
Contract Management: Support the entire procurement process, from requirement gathering to contract signing. Help to ensure contracts include clauses to mitigate and manage risks from a commercial standpoint and are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
Market Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the IT market, including emerging technologies and pricing trends. Use this knowledge to inform procurement strategies and decisions.
Work closely with the members of the Procurement team, in building a leading Procurement function.
Communication: Regularly update management on procurement activities and progress. Support calls and meetings with stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment and address any issues.

Knowledge of IT commodities, IT buying process and Software Licening models

IT Industry knowledge, ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance
Experience:
Minimum 2 years Procurement experience in IT sourcing
Software sourcing
Procurement experience in Financial Services
