Senior Sailpoint Engineer
Job Description Summary:
As a member of the IAM Team, you will be responsible for ensuring security principles are met through access certifications, application onboarding, identity lifecycle management, and governing Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes.
Part of our responsibilities include ensuring people have access to the right resources at the right time based on job roles, responsibilities, and attributes. We work closely with our internal controls department to ensure all of our processes are compliant with audit requirements.
What You Will Do:
- Onboards applications, and creates workflows, rules, policies, and reports based on business requirements.
- Develop and configure queries to build and initiate access (re)certification campaigns.
- Design and develop (code) rules, applications, workflows, custom tasks, and reports.
- Partner with IT and Business leaders to understand requirements, controls, and standards to ensure the IGA solution is implemented appropriately.
- Interpret policies, controls, and standards with InfoSec, risk, and compliance teams, ensuring policies, controls, and standards are properly implemented and built into the IGA solution.
- Supports and resolves system incidents, problems, and changes.
- Partner with peers to assess existing processes and assist in finding areas of opportunity to build efficiencies into those processes
- Draft process and end user guide documentation.
- Partner with Risk and Controls to ensure IAM is meeting regulatory requirements.
- Develop and support monthly metric and KPI reporting
- Assist in handling escalations from customers, colleagues, and vendors
What You Will Need:
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work under pressure in case of a critical incident and provide resolution.
- Be a strong team player.
- Minimum 5 years experience with Sailpoint Identity Now.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and support of automation solutions.
- Experience with IAM concepts like JML, RBAC, Provisioning, Access reviews, and certifications.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization using Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD.
Preferred
- Experience building integrations between identity platforms and in-house applications, third-party applications, and SaaS applications is strongly desired.

- Process automation/orchestration
- Amazon Web Services/Azure AD
- Python and/or Powershell scripting
- Database Design
- Sailpoint Certification on Identity Now
- CISSP
- Exposure to Amazon Web Services such as Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, and API Gateways
- Minimum of 5 years experience in either programming or scripting, Python or Powershell
- Exposure to relational database design
