SAP Ariba Engineer
As an SAP Ariba Engineer, you will work on an agile team with developers from internal business units to deliver business value and outcomes. You will help to develop, test, and implement infrastructure code to assist the team in achieving their goals. Work will be done from start to finish by an intact cross-functional team using an agile methodology, and employing the assistance of a scrum master, product owner, and agile coach. Each team member brings unique technical skills and strives to cross-train to gain additional technical knowledge across multiple disciplines in an exciting and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and support Ariba artifacts or modules
- Install and maintain (upgrade/patch underlying infrastructure)
- Design and support resiliency and scalability using AWS and other cloud platforms
- Support and deliver using continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines
- Enable systems with automated monitoring and alerting
- Support the team and customers with day-to-day requests, and change/incident tickets
- Support technology stack refresh on systems (end-to-end) when required
- Ensure automated security is built into each technology stack
- Understand and respond to emerging requirements and ambiguous technology decisions
Specific responsibilities include:
- Working with the business and BAs on providing BAU support for the Ariba application.
- Working with the business and BAs to provide project support and implement the Ariba application.
- Work in an agile development environment by following Kanban principles.
- Support scripts for back-office processing in a Linux/Cloud environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree, or equivalent education/experience
- Three years of relevant experience including two years supporting enterprise-level platform installations
- Two years of experience with agile development and planning methodologies
- Two years of experience in performance monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting in an enterprise
- Holistic understanding of the internet and hosting from the network layer up through the application layer
- Ability to give and receive feedback as part of a cohesive agile team
- Flexibility and adaptability to change, and a continuous learning mindset
- Customer focused
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to mentor others
Specific skills/qualifications include:
- Experience in Ariba procure to pay Implementation
- Experience in Ariba Contract Compliance
- Experience in Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance
- Experience in Ariba Generic Realm integration with 3rd party ERP System
- Support is provided at either a level 2 or 3 Ariba support level in the following modules
- Buyer, modules including Requisition/Purchase order, Service Sheets, Budgets, Receipt, Guided Buying, Spot Buy, Custom approval flow, Invoicing, Invoice Reconciliation, Receipt, Catalog, Catalog Content Management, and Catalog from contracts, Ariba Network and Pcard supplier.
- Upstream, modules include Supplier Lifecycle Management, Supplier Risk, Contract Workspace, Procurement Workspace, Sourcing projects, Sourcing events, Clause Library, and Custom template creation.
- Reporting, including Public reports, Multifactor reports, fact reports, Compound reports, REST API Reporting, and Spend visibility (for data loaded from different sources including Ariba)
- Experience with ARIBA integration with ERP systems such as ORACLE and OLAS
- SQL DB skills
- Basic SAP BTP knowledge and ITK
- Experience in any Programming language skills
- Customer-focused and outstanding communication skills
- Project methodology knowledge and SDLC process knowledge
- Working knowledge of Office tools such as Word, Excel, and JIRA, Service Now is nice to have.
