Becoming a part of Aegon's communities
Aegon has communities and Employee Resource Groups for employees to join, mostly, free of charge. Each group is managed by a dedicated person, or group of people and is open for anyone at Aegon to join.
First things first: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual and more (LGBTQIA+) employees, customers and partners are welcome at Aegon. To bring people together, to connect and to support, the PROUD employee resource groups are available to all staff. By working closely with human resources and senior management we strive to educate for constant progress.
As of 2022, the shared goal between all PROUD groups is as follows:

Race can often be an uncomfortable topic in corporate spaces. We have several communities to promote inclusion, respect and appreciation for different cultures across our organization. Moving beyond diversity toward a world without racism where everyone is celebrated, uplifted, recognized and included.
This community organizes interesting and fun events, both for Aegon only and external ones to connect with young professionals.
This is a community for colleagues living and working in the Netherlands. The aims are to support networking, help make friends, settle into life in the Netherlands, practice Dutch, socialize and have fun.
