GBSC supports investment operations, portfolio accounting, and client reporting services for the group's global investment management business, Aegon Asset Management.

GBSC supports application security management for the group's UK business.

GBSC supports model validation, actuarial services, internal audit for the company's Corporate Center, which oversees operations of the Holding (Aegon Ltd.).

Originally known as ÁB-AEGON, and later Aegon Hungary, our Hungarian team helped shape Aegon’s regional success and contributed to the company’s broader European and global growth. Then in 2018 Aegon Global Technology Services launched in Budapest, focusing on IT services. This was the beginning of the Budapest hub.

In 2020, as part of a strategic realignment, Aegon sold its Central and Eastern European operations to the Vienna Insurance Group. This marked the beginning of a new chapter for our organization. The hub’s separate departments and locations joined forces to form the Aegon Global Business Solutions Center. Over the past years, we have been expanding our global reach and capabilities, and now we service most of Aegon’s businesses around the world.
