Support the implementation of the strategic team selling program. Work with Sales Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), primarily in the mid-market space, on the delivery of individualized sales finals across multiple product lines, utilizing the expertise of presentation teams, product managers, and internal support groups.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales RVPs on each opportunity and partner together in the preparation for sales finals and technology demonstrations, focused primarily on the mid-market space.
  • Identify and secure the designated presentation team based on the needs assessment of the prospect, with specific emphasis on key issues, special needs and customized delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct internal meetings with the presentation team, product managers, and internal support groups (Pricing, RFP, system analysts, etc.) to focus necessary resources on the opportunity, including engagement of client management and new business services.
  • Participate in due diligence site visit meetings to introduce digital participant and plan sponsor tools.
  • Participate in sales final presentations with prospective prospects or advisors to present digital participant and plan sponsor tools.
  • Conduct post finals follow-up with Sales RVPs and the presenters to identify current and future team selling needs.
  • Collaborate with the Director to understand competitive data to learn product set, available services, and uniqueness based on the market size.
  • Manage related sales projects.
  • Create comprehensive sales finals presentations and material customized for each client.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
  • Five years of experience in the retirement services industry
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7, and Series 63 or 66 (or obtain within nine months, including SIE if applicable)
  • Experience creating presentations and marketing materials
  • Knowledge of 401(k), 401(b), pooled plans, nonqualified, and defined benefit plans
  • Knowledge of competitor products and services
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of people at all levels within and outside the company
  • Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software

  • Experience with Salesforce.com

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $81,000-$104,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.

This position is also currently eligible for sales and/or performance incentives. Specifics will be reflected in individual incentive plan documents.
