Retirement Consolidation Specialist - Education Representative
Responsibilities
- Contact new participants to employer retirement plans to provide education on asset consolidation.
- Follow-up with participants to explain plan options and forms required for plan enrollment.
- Handle rollover of small balance accounts and email transactions.
- Work with relationship managers and fulfillment analysts to initiate product requests.
- Assist participants with company not in good order (NIGO) checks to ensure deposited into employer plans.
- Collaborate with channel partners and act on referrals from the Customer Care Center regarding participants with consolidation and planning needs.
- Refer complex and high-profile clients to senior staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
- One year of experience in the financial services industry
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Written/verbal communication and presentation skills to provide information via phone, email, video, chat, etc.
- Proficiency using MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) such as Salesforce.com, and digital financial advice platforms
Working Conditions
- Office/call center environment
- Schedule may vary to fulfill service levels during hours of operation
Compensation
**Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.**
Total Compensation for this role is estimated to be $45,800 - $55,000.
The base salary for this position generally ranges between $41,000-$45,000.
Commissions:
This position may be eligible to earn commissions based on applicable sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies. Average first year commission opportunity ranges from $4,800 - 10,000 and is uncapped based on performance. Commissions are paid monthly.
This role provides a base salary along with a guaranteed floor of $400 each month for the first 6 months.
