Sales Support Consultant
Responsibilities
- Create, implement and follow-through on outbound calling campaigns, specifically targeting new agents, currently producing agents and non-producing agents for the CR distribution channels.
- Establish and cultivate marketing relationships with key agents to help the company meet its recruiting and production goals.
- Support inbound calls from agents relating to marketing support such as case design, product selection, communication policies, interest rates and production information .
- Provide guidance for sales representatives (agents) concerning procedures, sales applications and product recommendations.
- Make recommendations to management on new campaigns for all outbound calling goals.
- Maintain competitor information and act as a resource for the sales force by providing strategic information on field climate and trends.
- Work effectively with other home office departments to ensure that agent expectations are met. Facilitate the resolution of any issues arising from internal or external customers.
- Compile information for management related to product development, marketing trends, sales tools and competitive information.
- Counsel and advise agents on product offerings specific to individual sales opportunities.
- May conduct webinars & face-to-face training seminars.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years experience in an insurance sales environment
- Strong account management skills and experience
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Life and health license
- Industry recognized designations (i.e. CLU, CFP)
Working Conditions
- Normal office environment
- Occasional travel
Compensation
The salary for this position generally ranges between $50,500 -$55,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
This position is also currently eligible for sales and/or performance incentives.
