Lead Licensing Specialist
Responsibilities
- Review, audit, process the agent contract file for required forms and documents this including, but not limited to, adding the agent to the database as well as preparing specific licensing/appointment paperwork. Maintain records, handle inquiries and conduct research as needed for the agent files.
- Review and notify specific Quality Indicator results for high profile clientele as requested by management.
- Regularly audit the work within the teams for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Serve as mentor and trainer for new staff, and be the point of contact for new processes.
- Participate in developing workflows and procedures that will support increased efficiencies.
- Serve as the department liaison with external contacts such as product development staff, marketing groups, audit, system testing and support, as well as various other internal departments. Will also serve as point of contact for a variety of external customers.
- Must be able to effectively use a variety of software applications, including MS Office Suite applications, as well as division specific mainframe and software applications.
Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent work experience. BA degree recommended. Minimum of 5 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an insurance operations setting is strongly preferred. Ability to meet deadlines consistently. Strong organizational skills and communication skills desired. Ability to utilize advanced working knowledge of all processing and quality functions, with an excellent understanding of Licensing regulations to ensure complete
accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of services.

Compensation

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $43,000-60,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
