Commercial Transactions Attorney - Counsel 2 - Hybrid
Responsibilities:
Provide timely, business-oriented, legal advice and recommended solutions.
Draft, review and negotiate various procurement contracts such as: software/technology licenses, professional/consulting services, outsourcing, statements of work, service agreements, etc.
Collaborate with and facilitate cross-functional team decision making as it relates to supported projects and agreements.
Review and draft documents and templates.
Handle special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
JD degree from an ABA accredited law school required.
Licensed or eligible to practice in the applicable state.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for the responsibilities above.
Knowledge and prior experience with procurement agreements, software license agreements, Cloud agreements (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), outsourcing arrangements, and technology matters.
Must be able to prioritize to meet deadlines.
Must possess excellent organizational skills.
Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral, with the intended audience.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to exercise agility and adaptability in providing legal advice.
Comfortable in a rapidly changing corporate environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of relevant experience.
Software/SaaS agreement experience.
AI knowledge.
Working Conditions:
Prefer hybrid office location (3 days in office) in Cedar Rapids, IA. Hybrid office location in Denver, CO will also be considered.
Compensation:
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $140,000 - $160,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
