  1. Vacancies
Lead Full Stack .NET Software Engineer to drive innovation and lead technical strategy in developing enterprise-scale digital solutions. The role involves hands-on coding, mentoring, and collaboration within an agile environment across cloud and modern frontend technologies.

TRANSFORMING FINANCIAL SERVICES DISTRIBUTION FOR 200K+ AGENTS :

World Financial Group (WFG) is the premier middle-market financial services distribution company, undergoing a digital transformation to support 200k+ agents (from 86,100 today) and achieve $2B+ in Life sales and $5B+ in Annuity sales. We're building a unified, agent-centric platform to replace fragmented systems with seamless SaaS integrations and modern cloud-native solutions.

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE UNIQUE:

We’re building the next generation of digital solutions in a fast-growing business, and we’re looking for a Lead Full Stack .NET Engineer who’s ready to own big projects, drive innovation, and mentor a talented engineering team. If you thrive on solving complex problems, love working across the stack (from APIs to cloud to UI), and want your work to make a real impact, this role is for you.

This isn’t just another dev job. You’ll be the technical leader who shapes strategy, defines architecture, and delivers enterprise-grade solutions — all while keeping your hands on the code.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of modern web, cloud, and API-driven solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with product owners, vendors, and global development teams in an agile environment.

  • Set the technical direction — from architecture and frameworks to best practices in CI/CD and microservices.

  • Build, test, and deploy scalable applications leveraging .NET, cloud (Azure/AWS), and modern frontend frameworks.

  • Mentor developers, champion innovation, and keep the team at the forefront of new technologies.

  • Learn and keep pace with the latest advances in the field and rapidly grasp new technologies to support the environment and contribute to project deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, math, engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent education/experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on .NET development (C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, microservices)

  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and modern DevOps/CI-CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git)

  • Strong database skills (SQL + NoSQL)

  • Comfortable across the stack: backend, APIs, integrations, and modern frontends (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)

  • Proven ability to design scalable solutions and lead technical discussions

  • Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and track record for delivering great software

  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree, tech certifications (Azure, AWS, etc.)

  • Exposure to machine learning, data streaming, or big data

  • Financial services experience (but not required)

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid in Denver, Cedar Rapids, Philadelphia

  • Work outside of normal business hours may be required

  • Occasional travel

*Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.*
