Product Delivery Specialist
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and feedback on initial product specifications and design documents.
- Create high-level product plans including product strategy, features, systems approach, project impacts and milestone dates.
- Submit product intake request to prioritize projects and secure resources.
- Serve as a product subject matter expert for business requirement gathering and contract drafting activities.
- Collaborate with functional areas throughout the process, including product development, pricing, contract drafting & filing, legal, sales, marketing, technical services, operations, and the project management office (PMO).
- Partner with PMO to obtain estimates, project documentation and required approvals.
- Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders throughout the process and provide reports as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
- Five years of experience in a position requiring detailed knowledge of products and/or systems in the insurance/financial services industry.
- Proficient in one or more of the following product lines, which include life insurance, annuity products, retirement plans, health insurance, casualty insurance and group/employer sponsored insurance products.
- Working knowledge of systems that support at least one product line and impact multiple functional areas.
- Communication skills to convey complex information to large audiences at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to executive deliverables.
- Creative thinker able to find solutions and drive continuous improvement to the product process.
- Results driven with the ability to meet tight deadlines using time-management, multitasking and organizational skills.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Project management skills.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Transamerica products.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid office environment.
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $65,000-$74,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for a 7.5% Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
