Senior Director Strategic Business Planning
Responsibilities
Build and scale a team responsible for driving project execution, advancing process optimization, and embedding strategic discipline within operations
Evaluate project scope, design, and business cases to ensure alignment with operational strategy and value realization
Translate enterprise and strategic planning priorities into clear operational execution frameworks
Ensure automation and technology investments are preceded by proper process redesign, avoiding optimization of broken processes
Facilitate and manage cross-functional strategic initiatives that impact multiple business lines.
Manage interdependencies and critical milestones, ensuring alignment across initiatives.
Resolve issues that arise during planning and execution of high-impact meetings and projects.
Define and direct communications to leaders and teams across the organization.
Champion organizational change and promote a culture of transparency, accountability, inclusivity, and collaboration.
May delegate tasks to partners across the organization to ensure completion of deliverables.
May perform work similar to direct reports during high-volume periods.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Twelve years of experience in a corporate environment with roles requiring problem-solving and strategic execution
Experience in project management or business operations
Leadership experience with responsibility for guiding teams and initiatives
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable content for diverse audiences
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing large-scale events and initiatives across multiple business lines
Familiarity with financial services industry and strategic asset businesses
Working Conditions
This is a hybrid position requiring three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, Philadelphia, or Denver).
Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position
Occasional Travel 25%
Occasional travel to facilitate leadership and divisional meetings
Compensation
The salary for this position generally ranges between $181,000 - $240,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 25% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
