Provide key data analytics support to Transamerica Advice Center (TAC) sales managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders within asset retention, asset consolidation, life insurance sales, sales support, relationship management, business development, and process design.
Responsibilities
- Research and report on routine business questions (managed from stakeholder-aligned prioritization) including analysis of business workflows, products, and channels; make recommendations based on outcome of analysis to align with TAC strategy.
- Support directional decision making for the business with insights and analysis gained from utilization of tools, familiarity and navigability of data environments and relational properties, and business knowledge.
- Optimize existing tools processes, and opportunities within business initiatives.
- Share ad hoc research of business and data demands (managed from internal prioritization).
- Support lead distribution systems.
- Support internal partners, processes, and ad hoc requests from leadership as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, data science or other quantitative field, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce (primary CRM system & database environment (SOQL))
- Knowledge of databases, data mining, and workflow systems (SQL, SOQL, Alteryx, Python, Java, HTML) and Excel
- Knowledge of systems and coding
- Knowledge of visualization systems (SSRS, Tableau) and visualization expression and socialization
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to make connections on data points
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Organizational skills to meet deadlines
- Proficiency using MS Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services industry or related experience
