We are now looking to recruit a Product Owner for Mylo – which is the permanent cross-functional customer value stream who will own targets to maximise the value of our existing customer base.
As our Product Owner aligned to Mylo, we want you to feel empowered, trusted and supported to apply your experience in driving Aegon’s agile transformation. You’ll build a strong team ethos, ensuring full team involvement in the above activities with a clear vision and a strong sense of shared purpose to get the best out of your feature team members.
You’ll be accountable for creating a backlog of work, ensuring it’s prioritised, understood and delivered by the team to the agreed Acceptance Criteria, whilst striving to maximise value delivered by the team, whilst importantly liaising with a range of key stakeholders to ensure objectives for programme increments and sprints are well understood & supported.
This is a role where you will balance product/customer outcomes, technical strategy, delivery and our commercial objectives, ensuring benefits and costs are actively considered. You’ll ensure an appropriate balance of functionality, safety and pace, where appropriate taking an iterative approach to develop your features, to enable fast pace to market and trialling of new services.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills, with the ability to evaluate complex problems and use judgement to recommend and deliver innovative & creative solutions.
- Strong knowledge/experience of Agile and Scrum process/methodologies.
- Excellent team collaboration skills, including experience in dealing with multiple projects and multi-functional teams and an ability to coordinate across teams.
- Effective influencing and motivation skills – able to influence and lead a group of experts taking viewpoints and driving consensus.
- Ability to lead and inspire through clarity of vision and knowledge of domain.
- Drive and determination to delivery, providing energy to the team to make it happen.
- Proven track record of creative thinking and problem-solving.
- Expert in digital marketing and digital engagement techniques, systems and developments.
- Deep understanding of financial (inc. Fintech) products and services (desirable)
