Salary: A competitive salary from £25,760 - £32,200 depending on the experience you can bring

We are looking for someone to support the Unit Linked Fund Management & Control department in day-to-day business as usual activities. You will have to be highly organised and be able to liaise within a team at an administrative and fund manager level, you will play a vital role in delivering a number of initiatives within our organisation.
As a Insured Fund Dealing Operations Assistant responsibilities will include ensuring trade orders are placed electronically and/or by fax for the Aegon Insured fund universe. You will also have to calculate and review box positions in a timely manner.
Adhering to risk management will be a crucial element of the role and it will be important for you to maintain our risk and control framework on a consistent basis to meet regulatory obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
An understanding of external fund links processing trading, pricing, fees/charges and valuations
Knowledge of investment or insured back-office processes including fund accounting and unit pricing
High level of experience & knowledge using Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of systems such as – UnisureSapiens, Consolidation Master and Mainframe
A desire to understand and offer solutions to increase efficiency
It’d also be great – but not essential - if you’ve got:
An understanding of reporting price errors
Awareness and can react to insured fund events requirements
