Nanne Bos will join Aegon as Chief Communications Officer, as per January 1, 2021. Nanne will succeed Frans de Beaufort, who will be appointed from the same date as Global Head of Corporate Sustainability.
Nanne, who currently serves as Global Head of Branding at ING Group, brings a wealth of experience in both communications and branding with a large global financial services group. Alongside leading the Group Corporate Communications function, his first focus will be the creation of a new corporate narrative and positioning aligned with Aegon's renewed strategy, which will be announced at the Capital Markets Day on December 10.

Given Aegon's commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability, Frans de Beaufort will further develop and shape the role of Global Head of Corporate Sustainability. Frans will bring together his solid business experience, understanding of our company's reputation and a deep interest in the subject matter.
Frans de Beaufort becomes Global Head of Corporate Sustainability from January 1, 2021.
