Alex also voices his concern that financial security is something that many people lack, and how Aegon can be part of the solution. "This not only has serious implications for them, but for wider society too. We're here to change that. We want to help people throughout their lifetime, enabling them to fund their children's education, to pay their medical bills, and to provide for loved ones in the future."
In addition to creating value for its customers, Alex Wynaendts also elaborates on Aegon's interaction with other stakeholders such as shareholders, employees, business partners, investors and the communities in which the company invests.
