New research evaluating the retirement outlook of American workers highlights a number of issues common to all generations. But there are also some surprising differences...
[node:field_featured_media:entity:field_media_image]The findings were identified in the 17th Annual Transamerica Retirement Survey, one of the largest and longest running U.S. surveys of its kind. The survey is carried out by the Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies®.
For many, key findings from the survey may not come as a surprise. For example, sixty-one percent of workers have not fully recovered from the Great Recession. And thirty-eight percent of workers are expecting income from continued work during their retirement.
The report however, titled Perspectives on Retirement: Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Millennials, also highlights some clear and surprising differences between generations.
