Senior Product Manager
Responsibilities:
Develop and/or maintain product development pipeline documents to facilitate communication and support coordination regarding early-stage product development
Coordinate and conduct analysis supporting early-stage product development
Provide support and/or analysis to aid rate setting and other product management activities
Maintain calendar of upcoming important dates, deadlines, desired outcomes, governance requirements, etc…
Maintain relationships with index provider partners for index annuity products and own associated reporting, contract management, and contract fulfillment (e.g. index license fee)
Support competitive intelligence analysis – reviewing competitor offerings, and organizing and analyzing data
Help clarify messaging to, and create or improve presentation materials for, senior management in support of strategic decision making
Help to improve documentation of strategic decision making and archiving/organization of supporting materials
Continuously improve collective organization of Annuity Product and Pricing & Annuity Solutions teams
Exercises material judgment in setting priorities and determining necessary tasks
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
Four years of product development experience in the life or health insurance industry.
In-depth knowledge of insurance product features and riders.
In-depth knowledge of insurance sales and marketing techniques.
Understanding of profitability metrics.
Analytical skills and attention to detail to perform market analysis, customer research, opportunity sizing, profitability assessments, and risk/legal/compliance assessments.
Communication and interpersonal skills to educate audience and advocate recommendations with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Decision making skills to create scope and content for consumer market research, and use insights to develop product design and features.
Strategic thinker and facilitation skills.
Presentation skills to provide research data and recommendations to senior leadership.
Coaching skills to assist team members.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional designations (e.g. CLU, ChFC, CFP, MBA, PMP)
Experience in Product Development
Knowledge in Annuity Products
Working Conditions:
Non-commuting Remote employees will not be assigned to report to a Company office location (although they may need to travel to a Company office upon request) and will perform their work remotely.

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $85,000 - $110,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
