Special Markets Payroll Director
Responsibilities
- Work with operations, sales, and client relationship leaders on projects related to payroll integration; manage IT tickets to ensure timely response and resolution.
- Work closely with payroll and benefit administration companies to develop sales and marketing strategies.
- Expand current relationship with payroll companies and file transfer companies (130 to 360 integration)
- Partner with Marketing to develop materials and deliver on commitments/identified needs.
- Provide field support when payroll integration is key to a sale or retention.
- Maintain expert knowledge of company payroll integration capabilities.
- Identify and research payroll companies used by existing clients for feasibility assessment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Five years of experience working with payroll companies, including management responsibilities
- Experience positioning payroll integration in the context of selling retirement plans
- Experience supporting sales and retention activities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build relationships, influence, and collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Critical thinking, decision making, and analytical problem-solving skills to navigate complex and ambiguous environments
- Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Life insurance license
- Advanced skills using analytical tools
Working Conditions

Compensation:
The salary for this position generally ranges between $135,000-$150,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
