Retirement Compliance Consultant
Responsibilities:
Form 5500 functions:
Analyze and research data to ensure proper completion of Form 5500 and applicable schedules.
Prepare forms following set deadlines and quality expectations.
Provide communications and auditing packages to auditors and clients according to IRS regulations.
Answer applicable questions from auditors and clients, and assist clients with e-filing of 5500 forms and attachments.
General functions:
Review plan documents and understand the impact to the functions performed.
Under applicable guidance, assist clients with 5500 processes and/or compliance testing and overall compliance with the plans.
Evaluate alternative solutions and consult with other team members/manage for resolution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or business, or equivalent work experience.
Analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize work within assigned caseload.
Proficiency using MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of 5500 software.
Intermediate skills in MS Excel
Industry experience in banking or financial services
Working Conditions:
Office environment: Hybrid or remote location
Compensation:
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $44,000 - $52,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
