Salary: A competitive salary from £68,400 - £102,600, depending on the experience you can bring

We are currently looking for a Head of Service Transition to join our team on a permanent basis in Edinburgh, Peterborough or Witham. You will be responsible for our Service Transition team who are responsible for the controlled introduction of new or changing IT services into the AUK Technology estate. As such, you would play a crucial role in the following:
- Ensuring the safeguarding of our Production services through the controlled Change Enablement, Test Environment and Release Management processes, alongside overarching governance.
- Accountable for the engagement and strategic view in the creation of the Release Roadmap.
- Working with our IT Delivery teams to develop agile delivery approaches, whilst maintaining production stability and safety, in accordance with managed SOx controls.
- Engagement with our 3rd party suppliers to ensure Release schedule alignment and facilitate issue investigation and management.
- Responsible for facilitating and managing Release Acceptance Board.
- Ensuring the IT Operational readiness for all scheduled changes and Introduction of Service framework.
- Educating and encouraging understanding across all of IT Operations with regards to new and planned project deliveries and their potential impact.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Extensive experience working with a Service Management role previously, specifically within Service Operation and Transition.
- Experience working with risk frameworks and strong project management experience.
- Previous management and leadership experience, delivering business goals & colleague personal development.
- An evidenced working knowledge of Change, Release, Incident and Problem Management.
- You’ve worked within complex, large scale, Technology environments previously.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, you are comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
- ITIL foundation (or further ITIL qualifications) are desirable.
