Aegon announces today that its Board of Directors intends to nominate Lard Friese for re-election as Executive Director and CEO at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on June 12, 2024, for a further four years. Mr. Friese began his tenure as the CEO of Aegon in 2020, after having worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years.

If re-elected, Mr. Friese’s further four-year term will begin after the closing of Aegon’s 2024 AGM on June 12 and run until the end of Aegon’s 2028 AGM.
