Aegon’s businesses in the US and UK have recently introduced new initiatives to enhance customer experiences.
In the US, the new Transamerica FE Express Solution provides guaranteed level premiums and permanent lifetime protection of up to USD 50,000, with applications processed in as little as 10 minutes. Customers can also add an optional benefit at no additional cost to help with things like funeral planning, legal documents, or estate planning. The FE Express online platform streamlines the application process and helps customers identify additional options and premiums to fit their needs.
“The intuitively designed digital platform also gives agents and customers access to manage their policy whenever it works for them,” said Andrew DeMarco, head of life solutions at Transamerica.
In the UK, Aegon UK has updated its Member Insights tool that enables employers and corporate consultants to keep up to date with important information on their company retirement schemes.
The tool now offers:
- A new Deferred Members section covering in more detail the deferred membership of the scheme.
- An enhanced Industry Comparison section with industry averages across a wider range of data.
- A new Gender Pension Gap section pulls together four key metrics with an age and gender split.

Further enhancements to the tool are planned before the end of the year.
