Aegon announced today that, in line with the share repurchase program announced on August 9, 2007, the company has repurchased 6,620,000 common shares during the week of October 15 until October 19, 2007.

The total number of common shares repurchased under this program to date is 38,670,000 shares for a total consideration of EUR 517,539,372. To date approximately 51.8% of the repurchase program has been completed.
